Do you suffer form food cravings?

What is the food you really cannot resist? Is it chocolate, cake, ice cream, chips, pizza, sausage rolls, fries or ??? Does this make you feel powerless around food?
I am not sure if you have ever tried this but have you ever been at a morning tea while you were on a fad diet? I have! You try to mobilise all your willpower to ensure you stay on track with your diet and don’t touch the yummy food on the table. As soon as you get close to the table, you realise that your favourite food is on the table. You launch into a chat with the person beside you in an attempt to distract yourself, but all you can think about is the lovely smell of your favourite food on the table. Is it just me or is it always like the smell of your favourite food is stronger than all the other smells together? For the first 2, 3 or perhaps even 5 minutes you resist the urge to dive into your favourite food but suddenly, before you know what happen, you are chewing a mouthful of your favourite food.
You get angry, annoyed, and disappointed with yourself. Why can’t I just keep on track with the diet? Why am I such a marshmallow? Where did my willpower go? This brings you in a bad mood and since you have already broken your diet for the day, you may as well take some of the other food to make you feel a bit better. Does this sound familiar?
